The books, as we know them today, have superseded the book roll centuries ago. From then on we also started to decorate the external of books.

Even in these modern times the restoration of old books like bibles and decoration of paperback books is done frequently. After all, a book with a neat cover looks much nicer in your bookshelves.
It feels great when you decorate a book cover yourself and turn it from a worn-out cover into a beautiful book.

You can purchase the leather used for book binding at our store. The leather, mostly goat leather, is often only available in small hides. It is possible to order by email, however our experience is that seeing and feeling the leather is essential to get a good idea of the color and structure. After all, tastes differ.  Therefore we advise you to visit our store (with your patterns), so you can personally choose the piece of leather that you like.
